• Started as an adult training school by David A. Sinclair in 1887 • Once housed in a YMCA building the school has now become a community college with a downtown campus of 62+ acres, 19 buildings, and an enrollment of about 23,000 part- and full-time students • Classes offered at 46 off-campus locations throughout Montgomery and surrounding counties • Most recent locations opened in 2006: Englewood and Huber Heights Learning Centers Courseview Campus Center • Circa 2003 Warren County Community College Board of Trusteer determined that the higher education needs of Warren County residents could best be served by furthering a partnership with Sinclair Community College. • March 2004 Ohio Board of Regents acknowledged the addition of Warren county to the territory of Montgomery county creating the Warren county Montgomery county community college district. • February 2007 Sinclair broke ground on the new Courseview Campus Center on Courseview Drive near Mason, Ohio. Facility to be completed during summer. • Fall quarter 2007 Courseview Campus Center to open to first-time college students, transfer students, transient students, former students, and for personal interest and/or career development students.
